Am I drinking too much?

It’s a good question.
The guidelines are clear: regularly drinking more than 14 units of alcohol a week risks damaging your health. But lots of people don’t believe it.
Everyone’s different.
I know people who drink every day - and it doesn’t seem to affect them.
I’m not really a boozer – I just enjoy a drink.
It’s only alcoholics that have to worry – not social drinkers like me.
I could stop whenever I want to.
To answer the question for yourself, you need some proper information:
  • How much you actually drink
  • What impact drinking is having on your life and the lives of the people around you
  • What kind of drinker you are

The site has been designed to help you work all this out – and then you can decide for yourself.

You can start by doing the quick screening test here.

But you will probably want more information than just the screener. Create an account and you will get access to the e-tools so you can be fully informed about your own drinking patterns.
